1. Overview
Ctrl Shift ("we", "us", "our") operates ctrlshift.now. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We do not sell your data, ever.
2. Information We Collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
When you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised data about how you use our site, including pages visited, time on page, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location (city level). This data is aggregated and used solely to improve the site. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.
Contact & Waitlist Forms
When you submit a contact or waitlist form, we collect your name, email address, and company website. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry or notify you when we have availability.
Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie (ctrlshift_cookie_consent) to remember your cookie preference. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also sets its own cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visitors and sessions.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To understand which pages and content are most useful to visitors
- To improve site performance, layout, and content
- To respond to enquiries and onboard new clients
- We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties
4. Your Choices
You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time via the banner shown on your first visit. To reset your preference and see the banner again, clear your browser's local storage for this site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
5. Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is automatically deleted. Form submissions are retained for as long as the business relationship is active and deleted upon request.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics for site analytics (only with your consent)
- Cal.com for scheduling discovery calls
7. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or to request deletion of your data, please reach out via our contact page.
